Lenovo’s ThinkPad X12 Detachable has just been unveiled, and it’s a laptop with a detachable screen! That might not be unique, but the ThinkPad X12 Detachable comes with a gorgeous keyboard.
The ThinkPad X12 Detachable is a 12.3 inch, business focused laptop that packs actual laptop chips inside. Instead of the more scaled down tablet chips we’ve seen in similar form factors, this will include the newest Intel 11th Gen Processors.
Form factor is very much like what we’ve seen before, a tablet and keyboard combo with a kickstand. The versatile approach really helps, pop off the screen and write down your notes, then pop it back onto the keyboard attachment to do more productive focused work.
At just under 9 mm thick and around 2.5 pounds, this thing is thin and light, and also supports LTE.
There’s a Thunderbolt 4 port included, one USB 3.2 Type-C, a NanoSim slot, and audio jack.
All in all, this looks like a really appealing product for users who want the detachable form factor without sacrificing the laptop keyboard.
